The Symposium is best for Therapists who are Moms, but you don’t have to be!

- Evenings with wine, laughter, maybe an adult toy demo (or not, that’s voluntary!)
  Then this is for YOU!!
  For real, the Symposium is for anyone who identifies as a tired AF Therapist. Most of us happen to be women because we’re wired for the mental load. Many of us are moms and some of us aren’t. That’s the least qualifying criteria.
The Symposium is a gathering of Therapist Moms from across the US.

To receive your NBCC and Ohio CEs, you will sign in and out at the Strongblossom, Inc table at the event and receive a link to take the evaluation and get your certificate. Virtual attendees will attend via Zoom and receive their evaluation and certificate via email. Please note that you must attend the entire presentation to qualify for CEs, no partial credit will be given.
You are welcome to wear whatever feels good to you. I’m a casual kinda gal so I’ll be in jeans and a TheraMama tshirt.
We’re in a hotel ballroom so it can get chilly so bring your favorite cardigan.
In the evenings, there are restaurants in the Westport area (within easy walking distance-just across the plaza) that can be casual or dressy, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Learn more about Westport Plaza.
If you’re participating in the VIP event, bring your cute pjs cuz it’s a pajama party!!
No problem! There are single day tickets available when you register. You’ll still have a nametag and swag bag no matter which day you attend.
Excellent question! Lunch will be served buffet style both days. There will be snacks, drinks throughout the day and yes, there’s a Starbucks across the plaza and Panera right across the street.
If you have any food allergies, I’ll be sending out a form so I’ll get that information from you prior to the event. I have some food sensitivities myself so I want to make sure you have all you need. Last year the hotel did a great job of preparing alternatives that fit each dietary need.
Who the heck knows! Mother Nature is going through “the change” along with many of us, so I’ll give an update the week of the event with a full weather report.
I’m hoping for amazing weather like we had last year…fingers crossed!
Lambert International Airport is the local airport for the St. Louis area. We have all the big airlines.
The Sheraton hotels in Westport Plaza share a shuttle that runs every 15 or so mins to/from the hotel. The hotel is not too far from the airport. Be sure to get off at the stop for the Chalet.

Mama, I get it! I want you to be able to relax, let go and enjoy the Symposium when you’re here. If you’re focused on what’s going on (or not) at home, you’re not fully letting yourself enjoy this time for YOU.
If the kids are alive and the house is still standing when you get home, that’s all that matters.
Trust me on this one. YOU deserve this time to kick back, talk with other women who know your struggles personally and professionally and to not have to worry about all the things! You’ll go home refreshed, excited to see your family and probably having a flood of creative ideas about your business. It’s the best feeling ever!

AND…
One of the main pieces of this weekend is for you to step away from being in charge of everyone and everything aside from yourself. To allow yourself the freedom to let go of the scheduling, cooking, wiping and thinking. To just be you with a room full of your colleagues.
And if you feel it’s important and possible to split your time and allow yourself to be fully present for yourself while in the Symposium, then by all means, pack ‘em up!
